I don't have a ton of computer experience, but I'm looking into building a gaming rig. I have a $2000 dollar budget for this project. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to parts.

Gday SaintNick  and  :welcome:

Please answer a few questions so we may better help you.

In what country will you purchase parts.

Will you need a new keyboard, mouse and monitor?

If you are planning using a existing Windows OS, is it 32 or 64 bit? is it a Dell/HP or similar branded disc? a OEM disc or a downloaded one from the internet?

Do you have the Product code key for the OS?

What kind of computer do you have at the moment?   Please give the brand and model number.

Gday.

Thanks for the infor. some notes about the parts.

MB Z97 gives the latest Tech and up[grade path.

CPU to ensure no bottlncks.

PSU top of the range able to drive duel graphic, if you wish.

GPU will play almost any game at high setting.   Have not gone for a more expensive one as there will be a new batch of cards very soon and next year you may wish to upgrade, the Included GTX 760 would still fetch a good second hand price.

27 inch monitor, this could be swapped for two 24 inch ones.

Build for your consideration. > http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XbnYQ7
