Hey everyone, this is my first time building a PC and I'm trying to make a solid gaming rig that will last. I have done quite a bit of homework on the subject but I need to know if these parts are solid and compatible with each other. I think they are but no one that I know is good with computer stuff. Pretty good build but adjustment of parts would give you a better performance gaming rig, i.e. a quality 650W PSU gives $s for a better GPU.

Lets see probably like 1700 would be the max I would like it to be about 1500 dollhairs lol and anything from MMOs like WoW to first person shooters pretty much anything I can get my hands on haha I know WoW isn't super taxing on computers but I am starting to branch out to other games that are pretty taxing like Elder Scrolls Online. However I love wow that will be my main game I think and with the upcoming expansion and graphics overhaul my little laptop won't cut it. Plus I want to play in full fidelity with ultra settings, something I have never been able to achieve.

What monitor will you be using?   Are you likely to be gaming on a very large screen or dual display?

I have a monitor it's not huge its 24 inches but its nice it's a BenQ 1 MS GTG response time LED. I have a logitech speaker system with subwoofer not crazy amazing but it does well.

i7 3rd generation CPU to i5 4the generation, will not bottleneck the build.

no sound card as the MB one is just as good, try first, add later if not happy.

Moved up to a GTX 760 which will get you your stated game settings.   

No liquid cooling.   FYI, where a retail boxed CPU is supplied with a cooling solution from both Intel and AMD and you install a different one, or overclock, you will void the 3 year warranty, if damage occurs from doing such, you will have no legal claim,  I advice using the stock cooler, which does a very good job, and if not satisfied, then go for a different one, at your own risk.

that looks good! saves money too! i think i will stick with the full tower from cooler master though, I love that case and I want a full for any future upgrading but everything else looks awesome! I just love windows 7 i know you can get a shell to emulate 7 but idk I'll think on it a little more. I've tried so hard to get used to 8 and it just ends up ticking me off. Thank you so much! I had no idea that would void the warranty I won't be doing that then haha.

I am sure you will be very happy with the build.   Download the user manuals from the parts manufacturers website so you can familiarize yourself with them and ask questions here, if you need help.

Updated configuration, please note, I have added a mini internal system speaker which is indispensable when building your own computer.
