How to convert csv file to contoured kml file?

I have a csv file with columns (latitude longitude, and precipitation).  I would like to contour fill the precipitation onto a google earth map.

I have already tried matlab, python, earthplot, and qgis. None have worked.

What is the simplest way to go about doing this?

I have no idea if this works or not, but a quick google search turned up an online converter
