I really dont think this is the issue as I think I updated this recently but for the sake of being thorough its 15j021tx

You forgot to include the link :P
This is the webpage Ztruker is referring to :

And this should be the latest available drivers for your graphic card :

http://ftp.hp.com/pu...000/sp63750.exe

The above link is a direct download link. You click on it, start the download, execute the installer, install the drivers and restart your computer.
From there, see if Media Player works after.

ok, but how do i uninstall the old windows movie maker program first when it does not appear in programs uninstall?

Right-click on it's shortcut and select "Properties". Check in which folder the main .exe is located (via the launch command) and go in that folder. Tell me if you see any .exe called setup.exe or uninst.exe (uninstall.exe).

Not sure what has happened but its working again now......a series of updates came through and maybe its fixed?
