mine is a 64byte system. I was running Kaspersky but budget cuts put me on Avira. This computer is old and i was also going to ask people here if i put higher CPU and RAM would it be worth it or would i just be money ahead to build my own Gaming computer now and get it out of the way. Im running a single Processor. Where i would like to have solid state and dual processor with a higher end Graphics card.

I was running Kaspersky and switched to Avast because i could not afford The Kaspersky, Or well i was having money issues awhile back and when renewal time came along i stopped paying for the Kaspersky and went to Avast, But only used Avast 1 month and switched to Averia because of all of the problems Avast gave me. Im using Averia only. :)

I have worked on Computers 8-10 years old. They are still going strong. You could try resetting Mozilla Firefox and see if that helps.

If you want to stop working on your problem, please advise me and I'll stop replying. I seldom give up!

You could also click on task manager and see what is hogging your CPU and RAM

Iv tried resetting Firefox but to no avail... My CPU used to not get above 50% no matter what i was running or had open, But now its jumps from 64% to 100% stays there and will often drop but never for more than a few seconds then goes right back up to 100% Iv messed with startup, with disabling some tasks that were running, and or deleting some of the tasks. but still running at 100% But thank you donetao for all your help. Im sure the computers you have worked on that were 8-10 years old were not emachines...Lol There an ok machine, but there are far better machines for a little more money. Like i said this computer has done me good this long iv got all my uses out of it. I just think its time for a upgrade. Your comments and suggestions were top form. and im never going to doubt your words of wisdom, Like i said before if anyone ever asks you were the man with the plan and i appreciate you taking your time to help me. But this computer is already dead to me. Though i will stay on this website because its the only one i have found that the people answered me back the same day.
