Thank you for your continuing offer of assistance. It is much appreciated.

 

I think I will leave things as they are at the moment as I may find there are files I have not copied and which are likely to be on the sick laptop. Leaving things as they are will allow me to go back in and see if such files are there and subsequently copy them over.

 

Thinking I had lost my data was a difficult experience for me however with your assistance and guidance I have now been able to rescue what I need.

 

I really cant thank you enough.
