Hey guys, I am currently looking for a cheap version of Microsoft office that myself and my unit can use. At this time I am overseas on deployment. Money is tight and we need this program for alot of our training. I cant seem to find anyone who has a copy of it. Preferably on a usb than disc, my computer doesn't have a disc drive in it. If someone could please point me into the right direction i would be very greatfull.

You might want to check out Office 365. It's the "cloud" version of Office, but really the only difference is the monthly subscription price, $6.99/mo for personal, and the included email and onedrive storage. The 20GB of storage may come in handy as you can access it from anywhere with an internet connection.There are other versions as well.

I looked into the Office 365, but at the moment i do not have the funds to be paying per month. I also cannot store any of this material online per OPSEC/Military instruction. The internet here is very unreliable so downloading will take a long time, espically if I am required to travel off base. I asked my Mother, who is alos on this site, if she was able to get a copy on USB to send to me. Still waiting on a reply. I will also look into the OpenOffice. Currently, I could use PowerPoint for both viewing and creating being that it would be of great use for safety briefs for my work crew here.

I could download it to a USB and send it to you, but I'm not sure if you need your CAC card to access the download at that price. I see you will need your Military email address.
