My computer blue screened when I restarted took about a half hour before I could do anything, so then I tried to quickly back of videos of my son but computer froze and after that was never able to load back into windows from it again.

But I can access the drive from another computer just plug sata cable in and boot the other computer into windows and access the drive that way.
But I took the hard drive that has only been used for 1 week from a brand new HP computer and connected it into my main computer when I start it up, go's into "start windows repair mode"
Or. " start windows normal"
When you choose normal it just restarts if you do repair it freezes.
So far have done this with 3 hard drives and checked all my wiring replaced sata cables.

This is my build
Evga x58 board
16gig ram
Nvid 660ti gpu
CPU i-7 980 if I remember or 966 clocked 2.8ghz
PSU 750

I did replace the DVD from a player to a burner when I switched out the hard drive. Umm also did the normal cleaning, I did remove my H80 corshair hydro cooling system and checked the paste because it's been on it for the past 5 years now and the paste was very thick dry and like clay so I removed it and put a new layer on did my best to do a thin layer.

Crap forgot one. Other thing after I finished everything and stared up the computer for the first time "after cleaning" I did get a error saying cmos has changed the way I fixed it was I powered down removed the coin bat unplugged computer and pushed power button to drain anything left in computer, replaced the coin batterie and it worked

Not sure what to do now any help if you can read my post any kind of help would be great thank you.
