ok

Can you do that for the two other devices please ? It looks like this one is a Ricoh R5C833 R5C8xx Memory Stick Controller.

Yup, these are all Ricoh's controllers, mostly for SD cards and USB Controllers.
Now to find official working drivers.

That's why I suggested installing the Chipset driver. It might fix this. Might not but it won't hurt.

Then he should go with these drivers :

http://ftp.hp.com/pu...000/sp32555.exe

But I doubt they will work because they are Intel Chipset drivers, not Ricoh's.

The link I gave you initially is for this computer which is the one you said you had:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility for ICH7

CompaqVT6000.jpg

If that's not your then definitely do not install it.

2.  One of the following operating systems must be
fully installed and running on the system
    before installing this software:

Microsoft Windows* Server 2003 with Service Pack 1
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition*
Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2
Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4

The only drivers I can find on HP website for the Ricoh R5C833 Card Reader (first screenshot) are for Windows Vista unfortunately :

http://h10025.www1.h...001_title_r0001

Let me see if I can find them for Windows XP ...

Found the drivers for the device of the second screenshot ... :

http://h10025.www1.h...item=ob-55520-1

Windows Vista only too.

Found three valid download links for these devices on HP website :

Ricoh Memory Stick Controller
http://ftp.hp.com/pu...0/sp451aa12.exe

Ricoh SD/MMC Host Controller
http://ftp.hp.com/pu...500/sp45112.exe

Ricoh xD-Picture Card Controller
http://ftp.hp.com/pu...500/sp45112.exe

However when I access them they always ask me to pick my country location ... I'm being redirected in a loop.
