For Windows 7 users who want to play Inkball game, they should download the Vista Inkball download from the same free Inkball download links and configure the Inkball application compatibility to Vista.

Thanks for the quick response! Yes it works great! I would have answered sooner-but I had to take it for a test drive!   The game opened after download no problem. I was going to go through the rest of the steps (compatibility mode). But I decided to play it as is for test and research purposes. It did not crash. But the next time I do open it (in about five minutes) I will carry out the recommended instructions. Finally-something to replace Arknoid-for a day or two!

Great news and I am glad it worked in normal mode. Normally a Vista game should work in Win7 but the compatability mode option is a great way to make it work right.

The game plays great! It will play for hours-I know because I've done it!!    The only issue is for some unknown reason it does not work from the desktop shortcut. I have to launch from program file-not a big deal-but just odd.

Right click on the icon and then go to properties.
In the window that opens is the target and the start in lines pointing to the right location of the exe file for the game?

Sorry I didn't get back sooner-I forget to set email notifications and forgot about my post! Yes they are both pointing to the right location. The thing I did that seemed to work this time was go to the .exe-right click properties-Compatibility Tab-Compatibility Mode check box-Windows 7 in drop down menu. I just took it for a "test drive" and bested my highest score!!
