If it has automatically checked itself again you may be looking at a malware infection.

If malwarebytes doesn't fix your issue, you might want to open a topic in the malware section here on the forum.

I just got my computer back from the geek squad yesterday due to a power supply failure, which they replaced. Now, I cannot connect to the Internet. At first I was getting the classic Err_proxy_connection_failure, but when went to change my LAN setting, the automatic option was already checked. However I could still send and receive steam messages. I was using a wireless router because my modem is upstairs. I then tried to lug my computer upstairs and connected it directly to my modem, but I still recieved the same message. All the other devices in my house are able to connect to the Internet fine. When I run the Windows Network Diagnostics, it says The remote device or resource won't accept the connection. When I look at the detailed information option, under "issues found" it says "The device or resource (web proxy) is not set up to accept connections on port "8080". I'm very confused and would much appreciate some help. (I can be fairly sure it's not malware, because the geek squad ran malware bytes already) On steam, it displays me as being online, and I am still able to send and receive messages, but whenever I click any other tabs other than "Library", it displays "Error Code: -130"
