It's been happening for about a year. It's 50/50 on wheather it does it or not. When I start my computer get distorted lines on the screen. If I turn off the screen & back on it goes away. Computer is hooked up to tv screen through VGA. I tried other screens and it still does it. Also, obviously watch cable on that tv no problems. Any thoughts on to what it could be? And should I worry that my PC will take a dump on me soon? I wanted to include screen shots, but things are weird. I tried a before/after pic by doing the tv turn off thing. The thing is when I correct the screen the once distorted pic looks corrected. So there is no way I can show what I am talking about

Sorry kinda newbish on PCs so I don't know This is the computer & it's specs maybe you can get an answer? from that listed url below. Is that what you think it might be the GPU?

Alright, does this computer have two VGA ports (blue ports for VGA cables) in the back of it or only one ?

Check the routing of the VGA cable from the computer to the TV. Move it away from any power cables as that sometimes causes weird problems like this.

Just the power cable or all wires?

Normally the power cable is the one that causes interference and weird lines, that's the only one I would worry about.
