Hi there,

 

I keep getting the same virus on both my laptop and computer, no matter which internet browser I use. It only just started happening today. Every time I go to watch something on my computer, the page is just suddenly transferred to a site called "sheliminder.com" which is then blocked by whatever browser I use. It is a virus. My anti-virus software detects and blocks the virus from damaging my computer. However, it's annoying how I can't watch anything without this "sheliminder" website/virus overtaking the page I'm on. I did some research, but there is not much information on the virus, as if it hasn't been detected by a lot of people yet. I did find out that it might be related to java.exe, though. How do I stop this website/virus from taking over my pages every time I try to watch something?

Do you use a router to connect to the internet ?

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

• Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
• Select additions at the bottom
• Press Scan button.
  
• It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
• Please attach both logs generated.
