Hi!

Recently, my laptop experiences long time during start-ups and sometimes, while I am browsing in the internet, the google chrome would stop functioning and whenever I click on the google chrome to start again, nothing would happen. I would like to know how can I speed up my system and put it back on its original performance.

Thanks.

Hello!!

Please post your make, model number and Operating system!

You could try malwarebytes and see if it helps and then open a topic up in the forum malware section if MBAM helps.

What are you using for Anti-Virus protection!!

Hello!

Windows defender is MSE and IMHO a good Anti-Virus . I use MSE and malwarebytes pro in real time.

Have you ran malwarebytes yet??

Here's a soft ware for start ups. W8 should start up very fast!

I'm not sure what you mean by putting it back on it's original performance. Are you having more problems then just Chrome.

Try a different browser! I don't use Chrome. You could try resetting Chrome. Please read what resetting does before you reset it!

Download and execute MiniToolBox. Check every items in the list until "List Installed Programs" (check it as well). Once done, click on Go. Copy/paste the content of the output log here in this thread.
