Hey man, I have a problem with my laptop like always and it drives me crazy. So here is the story:

I played a game LoL and the screen froze and [bleep] and I turned the pc off with the button since there was no other option and I wanted to restard I get the error:

BOOTMGR IS MISSING
HOLD CTRL + ALT + DELETE TO RESTART

I tried to recover it, no succes. When its fully loaded it freezes there and actually nothing happend. I also dont have the repair cd/usb. I also found out after that 1 RAM chip was not on the pc but it was like free to move if you understand what I mean.

I tried to recover it and it didnt work. When i tried i needed to wait like 2-3 hours then it pop ups the screen of the options, i choosed the full restore, then it loads fully, then freezes, i waited a whole night but no progress.

Laptop model: Samsung RC710 Laptop

I don't have the Windows Repair CD/USB. Does anyone have another idea on how to make it?

PS: I wrote thos on my iPad, sorry for the [bleep] grammer.

EDIT: I have used the repair disk (also a lot of commands) now it doesn't gives me the bootmgr is missing but right now when I start up the pc I get the option to run from my cd. If I do nothing it will give me the option to scan the pc. The user Aura tried to help me with this on another forum but did not succeed. I hope this place gives me more luck. Thanks in advance guys!

Just noticed that this issue is still not solved
Alright so right now, when you boot your computer without the CD, what happens ? Still bootmgr is missing ? The command to use in that situation is bootrec /fixmbr.

> Starting Windows (waiting 2 minutes)
> Black screen
> Asks to scan (NTFS) (\\?\volume{c4dd4a21-fc54...)
> Login screen that says Welcome (in Dutch)
> The circle that loads aroung next to welcome stops moving and stands just there.

From now on I'll do what you say.
I'll try that now.

Edit: did them both, both finished succesfully. Restarting pc now.

Okay, found out Windows is killing all the services and prevents me from connecting to the internet and thats why its sooo slow at startup + if I try to just use it.

Looks like there are missing some reg keys?
