Hi guys, im pretty new to all this but im determined to build my own gaming computer. Over the past few days iv taught myself about the different parts inside the PC. However im still unsure about the compatibility of the components.

Im planning on using an AMD FX-8350 CPU. AMD Radeon R9 270x graphics card and  Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard.

Can anyone let me know if this will all be compatible together? or even give me some recommendations on any other parts of my build. Thanks a lot :)

Gday simon178 and  :welcome: .

Please give us a little more info which will better help us to help you.

In which country will you purchase parts?

What is your budge?

Do you have a keyboard/mouse and monitor to use in the new build.

If you present OS licence is a branded disc, like Dell/HP, or any kind of OEM, *Original Equipment Manufacturer?  it is not transferable to a new build, so you will need a new one.

Is there a reason you chose a AMD build?
