My Toshiba Satillite L755D-S5204 which has 4GB of RAM and a AMD A6 Vison has high physical memory use ranging around 60 to 70 percent and CPU useage ranging from 5 to 20 percent. Do I have a problem with possible malware or something? I just running two browsers and an IM program.

Hello!

My Toshiba has quad core and 6GB memory!

Here's screen shot of my performance!

Also look to see if a process is using a lot of memory.

Hello!

If you think your PC is running slow due to memory, you could add more.

Here's a good outfit. They have been around for ever. They have a great return plan if your not satisfied.

Adding more memory is a cheap way to upgrade and speed up your PC if you think that is your problem!http://www.crucial.c...0140807163212:s

GTG also has a great malware team if you think you are infected!

Hate to double post but here is a cap of my task manager. Sometimes it goes down to 20 to 30 percent memory useage. Could Skype just use that much memory or do I have something to worry about. Could it also just be my laptop starting to show its age?

Hello!

I think it looks good!!

Chrome is using a lot of your memory. If your not experiencing BSOD or lags, I wouldn't worry.

Maybe another member has a comment??

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Hi I hope I don't step on the malware guys toes, but I am a little concerned about two entries, one is for the antivirus AVG, yet I also see an entry for Symantec, they are the people who make the Norton antivirus. Do you have both Norton and AVG installed?

If so please remove and completely uninstall one of them as two antivirus programs running together can cause conflicts.

If there is only the AVG installed and the Symantec is for some other process and not Norton, ignore me.
