I have my home page set to msn. When I open my browser there is an ad by dealpeak at the top of the page and there is an option to close the ad, which I do. then my homepage is normal. Sometimes I click on a link to read a news story and it get a whole different page that states something on my computer is out of date and wants me to click a link to update it. I don't, I just close the page. Or if I go to Amazon I get these sliding ads one from the side and one from the bottom they are also dealpeak. I have TFC on my computer and have used it recently but, let me try again right now.

I tried a different shopping site to see if maybe it was just amazon but it does the same at target too. Yesterday I wanted to buy something off Amazon when I got to the check out, it asked me to re enter my credit card just for a safety measure. I have never had that issue before so I went to my tablet and signed onto target and went thru the process of purchasing this item. It went thru, never once asked me to re enter my credit card info. That's why I came to you. I know it's a virus

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.
