I was looking at my wife's ipad this morning and noticed that she has an app that allows her to send texts from her ipad. I saw numerous apps in the play store for Android devices. So I'm wondering what the best texting app is for Android devices, or is there some default Google or Samsung app that I should use that will synch it with my Android phone?

Yeah, I also have that on my phone. But I was looking for an app to text from my tablet. For some reason Verizon, who is suppose to have the best coverage in the nation, has a large dead spot around my house so sending and receiving texts can be an exercise in frustration, especially if there is an attachment involved. I found an app that works called Text Plus. It was fairly easy to set up and uses my existing contacts and is not attached to my cell phone so I get a new number with it, and of course, it uses wi-fi. However, I found out the other night it will not send an attachment with a text. If there is a way to do it I couldn't figure it out. I also tried Google Voice which is an included app on my tablet but I couldn't get it to work at all.
