I installed AOL 9.7 and found that I can't got to "hofner hounds forum" anymore. When I go to the site with all double checked correct spelling, I get an error page saying I should check my spelling and I may have DNS issues? I'm thinking about deleteing AOL 9.7 and downloading it again because I can get to the Hofner site if I go to Exploroer but not thru AOL? Is there anyway to check for DNS issues?

Hello!
IMHO AOL is out dated. I would use Firefox or Chrome.
I don't think AOL is a safe browser any more. These days, I wouldn't take a chance.
I seldom hear that anyone is still using AOL

I'm not understanding why AOL is not safe? Is there something unsafe about the program that you can explain?

There is no issue with the AOL software. The person that said that has been banned.
Here is something from the AOL help page:
Activate tunnelingTunneling allows the AOL Desktop Software to work better with your local or ISP network. You may not be able to access specific websites if tunneling is not activated on the AOL Desktop Software. Tunneling allows the AOL Desktop Software to work better with your local ISP network. To learn how to activate tunneling, refer to our help article Activate tunneling with AOL Keyword: Browser Fix.
Note: This keyword can be accessed only within the AOL Desktop Software; however, the Keyword feature is not available in AOL Desktop v10.1.
