Hey there

 

Seems like I have another problem, this time it's a problem with uninstalling a program.

 

The program is called " TrustedShopper " by SquekyChocolate and I honestly dont recall how come I installed this program.

So, Im trying to uninstall it but there's an error saying " A program required for this install to complete could not be run  ".

 

I also tried to use " Revo Uninstaller Free " to remove this program but again the same error occured

 

By the way, I took a look on the installed programs list to find out which programs I have installed on the same date and there's 2 only, Daemon Tools Lite and Microsoft Visual C++.

I thougt Daemon Tools Lite is the problem and I uninstalled it, but it didnt help at all.

I searched for possible unwanted toolbars/ extensions in all of my browsers ( Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer ) but no sign of any of those extensions.

 

Now my question is, is this some kind of virus/ malware ?

And more important, how do I uninstall it ?

I suspect that you have some malware on your computer causing issues that we are not able to solve through means we can use here in the Tech Forums. I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found here. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. Hey, sorry for the late reply ..

 

I used the program OTL, used the clean up option and I can finally say this program is gone.

 

By the way, do you mind telling me what exactly does this program do ? I am aware that it removes malwares, but does it also update applications ?

After using it I noticed a program " EPU 4 - ENGINE " got updated because it says it's installed on 29th September and I remember this program was installed more than a year ago, June 2013

I can only say that I am pleased that the issue is resolved, any questions regarding malware removal tools need to be answered by the trained malware staff, you could try posting in the Off Topic Forum and ask the question there
