I'm having trouble with my computer. For a month my computer sometimes doesn't recognize the gpu. The computer post but shortly after it gives me an error saying no gpu detect via the case speaker. Sometimes when I restart my computer for updates or whatever, it doesn't detect the gpu. When it works, I have a cpu OC profile saved on the bios. After OC I was watching a stream and had steam open(Dual monitor setup) the computer would restart by itself. When going back to stock settings the computer wouldn't restart. I tested the psu with a tester and it passed the test. I don't get any graphical glitches and I have the gpu OC so I don't think it's the gpu. Only thing I can think of is the motherboard but I don't want to buy any parts and find out that it's not that one specific part. Any ideas what it could be? I have tried reseating the card and using other slots but no luck. I also have all the latest drivers for both the motherboard and gpu. First time using this forum.

PS: I had no problems with OC back then until now.

Specs:
CPU: i5 2500k OC to 4.2ghz
GPU: Asus gtx 670 4gb OC
MB: Asus P8P67 WS Revolution
RAM: Kingston Hyperx(8gb)
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M700
Storage: SSD and HDD

Please enter the BIOS and make a note of the voltages detected, especially the CMOS batter one.

When you updated/altered the GPU drivers.   Did you delete all GPU drivers and all related software.

I can't go into the bios since my motherboard doesn't have video output connections. And yes I delete previous drivers and always do a clean install.

Connect with a different GPU cable/socket.

Boot with only one stick of RAM.

Change the CMOS battery, a cheap elimination.

If you could borrow a known working video card to try.   If it works, points to the GPU, if not, points to the MB. OR, a good friend who would test your card in their rig.

Other than getting a test done at a shop, I think you have pretty well covered all the base.

I have tried using a different cable/socket and booted with one stick or ram, basically the minimum. I'm trying to see if someone can let me test my gpu in their computer. Could it be the power supply since the computer would restart by itself when I overclock the cpu? With stock clocks the computer did not restart and it never did it in the past.

Yes it could be the PSU.   Depends on what sort of test you did, but you said is passed.

Using a multi meter gives a good indication but where possible, swap in a known good one or, get a PC shop to test it, must be done under load.   Phone around and ask, my local one will do it for free hoping I think to make a sale if it comes up as a dud.   Some, I know, will charge a small fee.
