Proxy server not responding

not sure th is is the right forum but my wife's pc is suddenly stating that it can't connect to the proxy server even though wifi is connected. ever since she up graded to winows 8.1 she has been having internet problems and now can't get on anymore

Hi. I found when I upgraded to 8.1, I had to install new drivers. You could down load them from your wife's motherboard site to your computer and install them on your wife's computer via flash drive.
