The site http://virusscan.jotti.org/ doesn't seem to be up. I'll check it again tomorrow to scan the wininet.dll file.

You're right, I
1. renamed C:\WINDOWS\System32\wininet.dll to something else
2. copied C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\wininet.dll into C:\WINDOWS\System32
3. Rebooted

Here's the current HJT log:

No problem that I'm aware off. I just never saw it before.
And since I'm one of the people that keep this list updated:
http://castlecops.com/CLSID.html

I will add these two now I know where they came from:
O2 - BHO: PT Cancel Popups - {30C4957C-A15E-48E2-99ED-7623B8EF4182} - C:\Program Files\Picture Tools\PT_CancelPopups.dll
O2 - BHO: PT Filter Links - {3C84954D-23A1-4D71-9185-6BE2BB312C24} - C:\Program Files\Picture Tools\PT_FilterLinks.dll

Thanks for the information.

fyi, when I run that picturetools toolbar I get a warning that it is trying to execute a file cleanup.exe. There is no explanation of that program in the picturetools info that I've found. I've emailed them asking them to verify it's not a problem and my email is returned undeliverable.
