Hello,

I have a dell desktop i never use anymore and i want to use it for something useful.

What i figured was to store all my movies on this and just connect to it from anywhere in my home and play the files.

I have installed FreeNas,i got as far as installing the plex server, but for some reason i can't get the plex server service to start,so i am stuck here.

So what i am asking for is expert advice.

Is there any simple way to store my media files on this pc and connect to it from another pc or smart tv and also from my tv running android box.

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can share this box out, but if you gave more information about the make and model maybe that would be more helpful
