I get this while using Firefox as well as most of my programs at least once during the use of the program. Sometimes more often. I also what is a good program to use that removes junk files?

CCleaner Slim is a good junk removal program. Run only the Cleaner option, not registry.

 

Sounds like you have stuff running on your computer that is affecting performance. Download and run Startup List (does not need to be installed, just run it).
When done, click File then Save as and save Startuplist.txt to your Desktop or somewhere you can find it.
Start a reply here and paste the contents of Startuplist.txt into it.

Running processes (71),  That's a lot. Many of them do not need to run all the time, only when needed.

 

See if any of these can be disabled from starting at  boot time:

 

Citrix (not sure what you are using this for)
AOL
Intuit Update
Hawking
HP Digital Imaging
Motorola Media Link
NCH Software
Yahoo
svchost (14 instances - need to look at what is running under each to see what can be disabled at boot)
GoogleUpdate
SAMSUNG Android USB Modem
Replay Telecorder for Skype

 

 

Try using Clean Boot to see if you can isolate what is causing the hangs.

How do I go in and disable those listed items? Or do I just have to follow the instructions under the clean boot instructions? Wasn't sure if this was two separate operations or just one.
