my desktop is not mostly white now (Resolved)

Hi!

 

I was messing around with the Display window and now my Desktop Pic only shows up on the left - about an inch wide all the down the side.

 

The rest is white. I don't know what I did. And I cannot figure it out how to fix it. I can change the DP but it's only on that strip on the left side.

 

It's probably just a click on something but what?

 

I have restarted and it's still there. So now, about 90% of my Desktop is white.

 

Help!

Perhaps login into safe mode via f8 depending on what operating system you have (which might be very helpful at this time). Try to reset adapter. It also sounds like you may be in your actual display(your monitor) making these changes. Try to his reset on the settings there.

And I guess it was a false alarm. Hard to explain but I fixed it.  It was a page that took over the desktop.
