I am completely new at this but IT dude at work has not been helpful and I need help.

I have a HP ProBook running Window 7. This laptop was provided by my company and while on my work network/wifi it functions just fine. But when I get home if I try using Microsoft Office 2010 (word, ppt, excel) it will either lag and give my the "not responding" but eventually will do the command but most often than not it freezes then I have to restart the program. If I turn off the wifi, office works just fine. Again this only happens on the home wifi on my work computer, my home computer is working fine.

Any ideas?

Hi :welcome:,

Check your default printer, if it's a network printer it can make Office applications get stuck trying to find the printer when it isn't available.

If you don't have another printer, install a local printer using any driver already included on windows and set it as default.
