Hi all,

I tried to refresh my win8.1 which is not booting anymore but got get "There was a problem with refreshing your PC. No changes were made". I read somewhere that if Win8 was updated to 8.1 through MS shops, the refresh/reset options would not work anymore.

Does any of you have any experience or knowledge about this issue?

Many thanks!

Hi johnbar99 :)

First of all, I would like to ask you if your laptop/computer came with a "Recovery DVD" or if it have an in-built Recovery Partition. Are you aware of this ? If not, I'll give you instructions in order to find out if there's a Recovery Partition on your HDD or not.
