I am sorry to post these questions here but I have tried and failed to get answers from Yahoo Help.

 

1. How can I tell which version of Yahoo mail I am using? I am <[email protected]>.

 

2. When I compose a message to, say Joe Jones, and enter joe in the TO block the system spots Joe Jones in my Contacts and automatically inserts “Joe Jones” for me.  Good, but I would rather the system inserted the full email address, eg [email protected]. Can I have Yahoo do that for me? How?

1) Yahoo's email software is on their servers, not on your computer. When you login to your Yahoo email, you are using your internet browser, (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) to access their email software on their servers. In other words, everyone who uses Yahoo email is seeing the exact same, latest version of Yahoo's email software.

 

2) One way to do what you're after would be to change the "Joe Jones" name to "[email protected]" (the same as the email address).
