Hello gents. I recently re-installed my W7, and I seem to have most things operational, however my headphone jacks are not operational. I'm not positive what I'm doing wrong, I think I have downloaded all the drivers that I usually do, can someone tell me which of these drivers would effect the headphone jacks? http://www.asus.com/...pDesk_Download/

My speakers are working just fine, I thought that the audio jacks would be effected by the same drivers as the speakers, but I guess not. I would appreciate your help.

Thank you.

Hi, I am surprised that the headphone jack isn't working if speakers are, The drivers should be the one for "Audio" in that list.

can you let us know the full model name and number of the laptop as I suspect it may require a different set of drivers for the sound system, possibly Realtek rather than the Asus one from their site.

Also have you checked the controls, there just may be a separate slider for headphone volume.

Nev.

Hello! I am not familiar with any other model number besides the G74Sx. What happened was that when I plugged in the headphones, the sound kept coming out of the notebook speakers.
