A family member downloaded Avast Free Antivirus on a spare Dell Latitude Laptop running Windows XP.
It now has NO internet connectivity wired or wireless.
I removed the Avast Free program, but the network card does not come up in the control panel. It is like the network card was disable. I plugged in wired and the NIC lights up orange instead of green.
Any help is appreciated.
