Hello, I'm not sure how to word this... and hope it comes out okay. So, I want to first say is... in no way am I being ungrateful, unappreciative, etc... I certainly am very grateful and appreciative of everything you do here at Geeks to go! You guys are great!

With that being said, I would suggest maybe instead of training to look for the zero replies in the malware help forum that maybe you happen to look at the author of the opening post and then if there's one reply... by the author of the opening post to not assume they were bumping. I'll use my current post. I've been dealing with serious computer issues. While I was running the OLT program expecting it to take only a "few minutes" I began typing my opening post. I finished my opening post but before clicking the "post" I waited a good hour or so... It was late... (early actually) so instead of risking my computer freezing I had posted what I had typed so I wouldn't lose it. I then fell asleep... When I woke up, OLT was completed so I posted a reply. Which I didn't realize at that time I was able to edit my OP. So, now I have 1 reply... so I believe my post is being over looked. Once I learned I could edit my OP, I did edit the title but now I'm afraid you guys may think I'm being a jerk or impatient which isn't the case. I simply was hoping it would be realized errors I had were innocent errors. And I wasn't bumping my thread. I had to post my OLT. So, I did. I think a little bit of common sense should go into this. I only decided to post into the feed back forum because I've noticed several people who posted their issues are being helped before my post so I can't help but think (which I may very well be mistaken) that either you guys are thinking I'm a jerk for how I had my OP Titled after my edits... or that I bumped my thread which neither is the case.

So, I guess I suggest instead of assuming one reply to a post is somebody bumping their post... as that may not be the case such as my case or assuming the thread starter is an impatient jerk or whatnot. I'm fast approaching the three day waiting period and think it's solely because of that one reply on my thread...  People make mistakes, we are humans after all. Just my thoughts. Thanks again for all you do! Keep up the great work!

Oh, please note... I looked at how to delete my reply to my post and move my OLT log to my OP. I wasn't able to find a delete option so I left all alone except for editing the title to "0 'Staff' Replies" but I think you guys didn't like that so have ignored my post. It wasn't done out of maliceness... I was hoping to let you all know that no staff have replied, I didn't know what else to do and didn't know how to correct my own human error when posting... So, I'm sorry for that. I don't like the zero reply rules... but I'll get over it.

Hello PBHRescue

While posting a reply to your own topic probably didn't speed up this

process, I think you are over reacting just a little bit.

The staff here volunteer there time and are extremely busy helping people.

I'm sure that your topic would have gotten some attention soon,

even without starting this topic. The staff here are very capable,

and sometimes downright amazing.

Maybe a staff member already took a look at your log and nothing

caused any red flags.

I am not allowed to say whether I saw anything of concern in your post,

though I did look it over very thoroughly.

Anyway, I highly doubt the staff here only search for zero reply topics.

Just my opinion.

On a side note: I think what your non-profit organization does is truly

heroic and amazing. Kudos my friend.

Thank you and have a great day.

Thank you for the reply and yes, I know they do amazing things here! I hope I'm just over reading things! Something is just wrong with the computer... It takes over an hour to load everything and for me to eventually be able to access the internet... so, I admit... it's very frustrating to say the least... I'll continue to wait patiently! I know all to well about the volunteer work as well... it's hard work!!! I just didn't want people to get the wrong idea with my "Title" changes... which I've edited it back to the original title. I'm just an overly stressed nice guy... super annoyed at the stupid computer :/ Lol Thank you for your kind words regarding my organization! I have an awesome all-volunteer team behind me! Hope you have a great day too! :)

Hello PBHRescue

Wow, from boot it takes over an hour.

Yeah that's definitely a problem.

Don't worry, a staff member will be with you asap.

I know for a fact that a senior member of the staff has read this topic.

Thank you my friend and have a great day.

I just wanted to also add that I posted here primarily just to explain what had happened and what I did when posting and then replying... I didn't want anybody to get the wrong idea about me... and sometimes I choose or say the wrong words or whatnot which often are misinterpreted... I lack human socialization... I live in the Dog House! ;) So, my people skills suck... which thankfully for me, I do have an awesome team of volunteers who understand me and cover the human relations sect for me! Lol... I'm as misunderstood as the very dogs I rescue... We're meant for each other! This over an hour thing is definitely burdensome though! I have another Acer Laptop that was donated to me by a volunteer... but it's hard drive was going bad and had other issues so a buddy is fixing it for me by installing a new hard drive and installing the Windows OS 7 Ultimate for me but his job has kept him away additional days, he's supposed to be back today so I hope there isn't another postponement... It's been almost a week now... So, I feel very crippled at the moment :/ By the grace and blessings of the Lord, I'll be OK though! Thanks for tolerating me! I want to re-iterate, how grateful I am for Geeks to Go and the work that's done here! I've been helped before a long while ago, I believe by Gringo... so, I'm familiar with what you do here and it is indeed great and appreciated very much! Hope you have a great day as well!! :)

Hello PBHRescue

One suggestion I would have for you is to break up your

replies a little bit.

Sort of like paragraphs in a book.

It's much easier to read a long reply when it's broken up into sections.

:spoton:

This can start to hurt your eye's after a while.

Especially for the staff after looking at OTL logs for hours on end.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sorry to here about your situation.

I would help you if I could, but here at gTg only staff

members are allowed to help with malware issues.

Too bad because I have already went through your OTL log.

Any other issues though, be glad to give my input.

Thank you my friend.

Thank you for your advice! I'm usually better... I keep telling myself to proof read before posting whether it's on forums, social media, or other places... My grammar and spelling is usually pretty good but then again, I have my lazy moments or rush to post, etc. Usually my lack of proof reading is what tends to get myself into trouble! ;) My other issue is, I tend to be a bit more on the "wordy" side of things :/ Thank you again for your help! I greatly appreciate it! :)

Point of note here folks  ;)

PBHRescue OP on the hardware forums at 06.44am US time, topic replied to by myself at 18.29pm UK time, PBHRescue last reply to the topic was  :whistling:

Levity apart, I for one do not profess to know the ins and outs of the malware forums but what I am well aware of is the one to one care that the team there afford to people who need their help so sometimes there may be a slight delay in an OP receiving attention, hence the reason for the Waiting Room

That is indeed a good point to note! :)

I have noticed by the spelling of certain words... a lot of Staff are from overseas particularly the UK where there is a significant time difference. I'm posting from Florida so, I'm on eastern standard time! :)
