Hi

I have a client who has bought a domain name from a cheap provider.

He would now like his Yahoo Account to send and recieve email from that domain.

To forward mail, I think I would just need to amend the MX record on the Name Servers at Domain Hosting Company. Is that correct?

But How would I be able to send email using business name from personal yahoo account???

Or is there a cheap alternative?

Thanks

If he wants to use Yahoo email with a custom domain, he'll have to sign-up for a business email account: https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/email

Similar services are offered by Microsoft Office 365 ($5.00/mo), and Google Apps for Work ($5.00/mo). The free custom domain offerings from both Microsoft and Google have been discontinued.
