My wife had a problem with her laptop and the final result meant reinstalling (after much difficulty) the system restore disk and overwriting everything that was on there. However when clicking on my computer the size of C (the hard drive) shows total 9.08GB and freespace 5.56GB It is supposed to be a 20GB ( or just under ) hard drive.
any ideas why the rest of the hard drive is not showing and how to rectify matters?
From what my wife recalls the freespace matches what her freespace was prior to the laptop operating system being reinstalled.
