My OS, (Windows 8.1), is totally new.  I donno where to find anything.  And there've always been holes in my knowledge of computing.  I'm running a game called TS2015, (Train Simulator 2015).  The game comes from STEAM.  STEAM provides many different types of games.  I donno what to call STEAM.

Anyway, I was instructed to find the INSTALLATION FOLDER for STEAM, and launch STEAM from that folder... and not to launch from the PRE-EXISTING SHORTCUT.

I'm visually impaired and an aspergers person so could you please try to give me a very literal, and step-by-step answer?  My aspergers manifests as a learning disability because of my other disabilities.

Any help with this will be very much appreciated.  :)

Thanx in advance.  :)

Since i do not have a steam game, i would assume to look here first. Go to This PC usually pinned on taskbar " File Explorer" open it and then open the C: drive, now it's either in the folder - Program Files (x86) or Program Files, should be named Steam. Look for a file named Application. Should have a Steam icon too.
