I am very new to learning about processor speeds and fucntions. I am wondering what exactly is 64 bit support and why most AMD processors posses it and intel processors do not. Why do so many gamers prefer AMD processors over intel when intel goes over 3.0Ghz.

This is an on going debate, which is better? In my opinion, AMD. Note that this is MY opinion, and we know what they say about opinions, every one has one, right? I have 4 computers, 2 are AMD64, 1 AMD 1Ghz and the other Intel 1.2 Ghz. Go over to
http://forums.amd.com/ for lots of good info on AMD.
