I updated to AOL 9.7 a few days ago and didn't realize until the next day that all but one of the many email folders I saved to my PC are gone!  I frequently pull up old email for important information.  I tried contacting AOL for help, but my account doesn't include tech support and I couldn't find anything on their very brief (5 items) troubleshooting list for 9.7.  I'm afraid those folders and all the email are gone for good and I don't know what to do.  I'm afraid to update ever again!  For what it's worth, I have 2 other AOL accounts and they weren't affected.  Naturally, this account is, by far, the one I use most frequently.  HELP!!   :bashhead:

Thank you CompCav!  I didn't see your response until late, and I'm pretty much booked all day tomorrow and Wednesday morning, so I'll have to give it a shot in the afternoon.  Fingers crossed...

By the way, was there something I needed to click on to be notified of responses?  I didn't get one, to my knowledge.

Much appreciated,

harpluster

I've actually been waiting for my techie husband to be available to help me, but he's been rather busy, so haven't tried the fix yet.  I'll let you know when we get to it.

I don't know if it'll just bring back the stuff I'm missing in the one account or replace what I've since saved to my other 2 accounts, so that's got me a bit concerned.  Maybe I should discontinue saving anything to folders until we try this...

Thanks again,

harpluster
