Sorry for the delay but had to take the bus to the City and buy a can of compressed air and also a tube of dieletric grease. Took every thing apart, as best possible, and cleaned up with contact cleaner and then smeared the grease lightly on the contacts with a Q-tip. Haven't had a start-up problem in a couple of weeks now, so I think I'm good! Yes!

 

Still losing my letters on the keyboard from time to time: NBJY and U. A couple of the numbesr as well. This is probably due to the same: dirt & corrosion. But I'm happy!
