Hello,

I recently returned my hp netbook to factory settings.

It took forever to finish and since it has,the netbook won't load.It tries to start services and then error "windows could not finish installation.

to install windows on this computer, restart the installation"

I have inserted flash drive containing windows and tried start up repair, system restore etc all to no avail.

what can i do now other than reinstall.

Please help.

Hello ftfk00

Can you tell us the exact model name or number of the HP + why you needed to restore the notebook back to factory settings in the first place, was it slow performance for example.

Hello ftfk00

There are any number of reasons but we don`t have enough information to go on at the moment I`m afraid, what you described sounded like the recovery partition was damaged/corrupted.

As asked earlier, what is the exact model name or number of the HP.

Have you had the netbook since new.

You are welcome btw  :)
