System used to be fine, but now takes about 5-6 mins to start up. Also crashes if too many screens open.
Had a RUNDLL error, but think I fixed that with turning off Power Maintenance.
Not sure what to do.. :tazz:
Any ideas?

Ok, I've done all that.. very carefully, all seemed good, but still restarted slowly... is this an instant fix? or should i wait...
is there something more I need to do?

Actually I have just realised I didn't check Ad-Aware SE for updates, i'm downloading the updates now and will do the Safemode part again.

I'll let you know what happens :tazz:

STOP!!

Do not follow linkmaster's advice!

He is a trainee and is not supposed to be advising anything to do with HiJackThis logs until he completes his training. Some of the advice he has given can be harmful to your computer.

Post back if you can still see this and we will go from there.

linkmaster expect a pm from me shortly.

Hi there Princessgoddess

I am UKBiker and will be helping you to sort out your problems. :tazz:

The best way for us to ensure that you get the qualified help that will enable you to get your computer working well again, is for you to post a new HJT log.
Please send me a PM when you do this, so that I can get working on it without any delay.
