Backup to CD's

I'm tired of reinstalling everything every time my computer crashes. Is there some good software that will backup the entire harddrive to several CD's and then easily allow me to reinstall it, without knowing anything about partitions, etc. Or do I need to buy an external harddrive and keep it constantly updated?

Have a look at Nero

You can have a one month trial

The main things are documents and other files you create.

Anything you have the software CD's for you may as well leave as you are going to have to load something from a disc to get the programme on, also leave out programmes which have updates from the manufacturers sites, as your back up may not include them
