Machine 1: XP Pro  Ver 2002 SP3 Pent 4 2.26 GHz 2 GB RAM

Machine 2:XP Home Ver 2002 SP3 Celeron D 3.20 GHz 1GB RAM

I do realize there are no more XP updates from MS.

I just wanted to know which one would be better before I start installing programs on both.

The main program will be a DAW.

What's a DAW?

I'd say the 1st one as Celeron is a very low end, entry level processor.

Only way to know for sure is install a few on both and test.

A DAW or D.A.W. is a digital audio workstation (multitrack recording studio).

The Oent 4 one seems to runs it pretty well.

Might not bother with the Celeron-maybe last resort!
