L gave my computer to  someone and deleted my Outlook 2007 Office account, but my email address book remained.

I went in and highlighted all the addresses and deleted them, but when I checked  the contacts folder ther were all in there

so I went to help and it said to go to  Tools - Account Settingds- Address books -  saw the outlook Address book and highlighted it.  the delete option was greyed out so I clicked Change.

A window popped up and told how to designate the contacts folder as an address book.

I followed the directions but the option i was supposed to check was not in the Contacts folder's  options.

so after closing I noticed in the still open  account setting address book window there was an option below, that said  to  remove the address book.

I clicked it and it was gone.

I tried to import the new persons contacts (CVS)

and they imported to contacts,  but there are no addresses in the address book.   AUGh

I tried again and got doubles but no entries in address book. I can not figure it out.

I went in again to  Tools- Account settings- and the outlook address book was back like before but still cannot get the imported contacts to get in the address book. Does anyone have any ideas on how toget the contacts into the address book.???

Thanks
