dont worry. go onto goole then type in spybot. it seeks and destroys any viruses, worms, trojans and adware on your pc.
I got mine from internet explorer, so if you have internet explorer i suggest you download netscape, its a very good browser and easy to download. again just go into google but this time type in netscape. then set that as your active browser.

i hope this helps you, if not come back and i will do what i can to help you. :tazz:

Hi god333,

Did you install any new codecs just before this started happening?

If I am right the folders giving your problems will hold moviefiles like .avi, mpg or others.

Regards,

spybot dont search for all viruses and spyware. (as far as i know it dont look for any viruses)

your computer could freaze because
A: you have alot of deleted contents thats still on your computer
how to fix: try doing cleanup.

b: you dont have alot of ram and your running to many programs
how to fix: buy more ram or dont run so many programs, or open spybot and switch to advance mode. select the tools tab and use the startup manager.uncheck all those checkboxs(but dont delete the things). i would like a list of what shows in this list.this will help tell us if you have spyware.

c: part of your windows is currupt.
how to fix: depends whats broken.

could u please download hijack this.
u can download this at http://www.download....tml?tag=lst-0-1 please do a scan and post your log.(this will tell us what is running on your computer to see if you have spyware)

also if u have a anti virus program installed please update your definitions and run a full system scan. or u could do a online scan(if on dialup this could take like forever or your connection might not work since u said internet stops)

a online scan i suggest is http://www.bitdefend...m/scan8/ie.html
(please if you are going to do online scan disable your current anti virus)

i personal use that online scan whenever i think my installed anti virus is not working right.
