I have been having an issue trying to access my router info (192.168.1.1) on 3 different computers (one of which is connected via ethernet). I've tried it in multiple browsers and get an error message saying "No data received". I'm not very good at anything computer related, so hopefully someone can help me!  :headscratch:

Hi.

Ok, click start, type cmd and when command prompt appears in the list, right click it and select run as administrator

Once it's up, type:

ipconfig /all > c:\ip.txt

Then paste the contents of c:\ip.txt here please

Ok , jsut wanted to check that the server is what you expect it to be.

In the black box, type one at a time, pressing enter after each.

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset reset.txt

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /registerdns

After reboot, try again and see what happens.

It's late here so I will be gone for the night very shortly. But hopefully this should sort you out.

No luck

Firefox gives this message: The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Opera and Chrome this:
No data received
Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.

With it being all 3 computers I wasnt convinced that would work but worth a shot.

Have you tried rebooting the router?
