I have a new HP computer, os Windows 7.  I downloaded Apache - open office - 4.11.  When I tried to open my thumb drive, got message:  Unauthorized for access (or something like that).  How do I get in to my own thumb drive?

*Is there currently data on the flash drive? If no data just right click on drive in my computer and format. That will remove all permissions to that drive.

*If there is data right click on the drive in my computer, Go to properties, Security, see if you're account has read access for this device

*you can also check the drive for errors* to do this right click, properties, tools, select Error checking, Scan now .

Hopefully that helps, If not report back.

Thank you!
