Freeze could last .. I usually close and start over .. sometimes only a reboot will get me out of it .. not sure if that is a proper response to it.

That's not your ISP, that's either Malware or your H/W or OS. And, I'm leaning to Hareware or OS as I don't see anything of signficance on your scans.

 

A couple posts back you asked for me to do a start up repair ... something came up and I didn't go ahead with it .. I'll do that now.

Certainly either of your ideas have merit as far as entertainment value goes. (Please return with pictures or movie     )   However, this Hardware or this Operating System and starting a Topic in one or the other was more what I had in mind

How did the machine run over the weekend? Are we still ok from a Malware perspective?

Everything has been great !! ....... I thank you so very much for the help and the links in the previous posts .......... with only simple maintenance items I read my machine is actually much better than it was. ..
