My cpu thinks I have two monitors

When I play a game my monitor will just shuts off and goes black. Then every thing locks up and I have to turn every thing off can somebody help me. My video card is Geforce FX 5200 AGP 128 MB DDR.

This could be a lot of things, but we'll start with your video drivers? Have you tried updating them?

ok I did that and I made sure my monitor was in the primary slot so I hopes this works. I haven't had any problems but if I do I'll report back.
