My question is simple; How dense would someone have to be to downgrade to Windows XP?

I don't believe it is an issue of people being dense as you put it. A lot of people many millions liked XP for a number of reasons. I think that most people either don't know or haven't been told that XP isn't supported by Microsoft anymore. I don't know exactly who you are talking about as you haven't given an example but I normally just inform people that they can use XP if they want but that there isn't going to be any support or help if they get attacked by any of the baddies on the internet. 

 

I would follow that conversation up with asking them what problems they are having with their current OS and how I can help them to fix the issue.

Thanks, I would like to do this for a number of reasons, although I'm going to wait for more reply's before taking a final decision. Seems it's still somewhat secure if you use the PoS hack to receive additional updates.
